Liz Greene's Mythic Astrology – the illustrated astrology set by the co-author of The Mythic Tarot, using Greek myth to illuminate the Sun, Moon, planets and Ascendant.
About the book
Liz Greene – co-author of The Mythic Tarot – uses the powerful images of ancient myths to provide new insights into the Sun, Moon, planets and Ascendant. By invoking the imagination, the symbols of astrology can be understood on the emotional, intuitive and intellectual levels.
Rather than treating the planets as abstract forces, the book introduces them as characters from Greek mythology – Apollo, Aphrodite, Ares, Zeus, Kronos and others – whose stories reveal the drives and conflicts at work in the birth chart. It shows how to find your own placements and read them through myth.
Liz Greene's mythological approach has shaped modern psychological astrology, and this illustrated set is now out of print.
About the author
Liz Greene is an American-born astrologer and Jungian analyst based in the UK, co-founder of the Centre for Psychological Astrology and author of Saturn: A New Look at an Old Devil and many other books.
Ideal for: astrology students and practitioners, readers of mythology, and fans of The Mythic Tarot.
